As the clock struck past midnight
She couldn't help but wonder in fright.
How long had she come across?
By hiding her eyes' betraying gloss.

Life, they said, is a challenge to be faced,
Thus it had to be dearly embraced.
Loving and living life was their opinion,
To make it your lifelong companion.

Little did they know, she didn't see life as her cure,
But the way she evolved, life saluted her for sure.
A silent little bubble she was, who dared to think of sailing the ocean,
And now that she was halfway across, did she lose her devotion?

When everything was fine she suddenly felt tired,
