Open Way is a
creative, flexible, accessible and/or
transparent approach in life, thinking,
communication, business, systems, or processes –
emphasizing inventiveness, clarity, inclusivity,
and freedom from limiting beliefs.

The 3Os of Great Life are Open Heart,
Open Mind, and Open Way.

Processes that
breathe. Systems that adapt instead of
resisting.
Communication that
invites. Dialogue that expands possibilities
instead of narrowing them.
Leadership that
liberates. Guiding others by opening doors, not
guarding them.
Creativity that
flows. Ideas that emerge from openness, not
pressure. |

A
closed way preserves what was.
An open way nurtures what can
be...

At sunrise, Master
Wei and his student Di walked along the bamboo
bridge that crossed the river. The water below
shimmered like liquid glass, shifting with every
breeze.
Di spoke first.
"Master, you often mention the Open Way. But how
can a way be open? A path is usually fixed."
Wei smiled gently.
"Only for those who fear stepping off it." |
|
| |
|
He
picked up a bamboo stalk that
had fallen overnight. "Di, look
at this bamboo. It bends, it
sways, it adapts. If the wind
changes, it does not resist. If
the rain comes, it does not
complain. Its strength is its
openness."
They continued walking until
they reached a small gate.
|
|
|
 |
|
It was unlocked,
yet Di hesitated. "Should we enter, Master?"
Wei pushed the
gate lightly. It swung wide without effort. "An
open gate does not ask who you are. It invites
you to become more."
Di frowned. "But
in life, people build walls, rules, systems.
They say: 'This is how it must be.' How can one
remain open in such a world?"
Wei knelt and
traced a circle in the dust. "Di, the closed
mind draws a line and calls it the world. The
open mind draws a circle and keeps expanding
it." |
|
|
An open gate does
not ask who you are. It invites you to become
more. |
| |
|
He
stood and looked toward the
horizon. "The Open Way is not a
method. It is a stance. It is
inventiveness instead of
rigidity, clarity instead of
confusion, inclusivity instead
of exclusion, and freedom
instead of fear."
|
|
|
 |
|
Di
listened, absorbing each word.
Wei continued.
"When you speak openly, others feel safe to
speak. When you think openly, new ideas find
you. When you build openly, people join you.
When you live openly, life itself becomes your
collaborator."
A flock of birds
rose from the riverbank, scattering into the sky
in different directions yet moving as one.
Wei pointed at
them. "See how they fly, Di? No single bird
dictates the pattern. They trust the openness
between them." |
|
|
When you live
openly, life itself becomes your collaborator. |
| |
|
Di's eyes widened. "So the Open
Way is not about removing
structure. It is about removing
the fear that keeps structure
from evolving."
|
|
|
 |
|
Wei nodded.
"Exactly. A closed system protects what was. An
open system nurtures what can be."
As they walked
back toward the school, Di felt something shift
inside him – a quiet widening, like a window
opening to fresh air.
Wei placed a hand
on his shoulder. "Di, remember: The Open Way is
not a path you follow. It is the space you
create wherever you stand."
And in that
moment, Di understood that openness was not a
technique but a liberation – a way of being that
turns every step into possibility. |

Openness is a
liberation – a way of being that turns every
step into possibility. |
