Marketing innovation is the most frequently type of tactical innovation.

"Near-term competitive advantage" refers to a tactic and/or strategic business benefit that can be gained in the short term.

 

 

 

Tactical innovations are primarily soft innovations – they are often street-smart, serendipitous, and intuitive.
