Winning
Life's battles don't always go to the stronger or faster man. But sooner
or later the man who wins, is the man who
thinks he can.
Winning is not a sometime thing; it's an all time thing. You don't win
once in a while, you don't do things right once in a while, you do them
right all the time. Winning is
a
habit. Unfortunately, so is
losing.

Great Achiever:
8 Winning Habits
Once you learn to quit, it becomes a
habit.
Winning isn't everything, but the will to win is everything.
If you can accept losing you can't win. If you can walk you can run. No
one is ever hurt. Hurt is in your mind.
It's not whether you get knocked down, it's whether you get up.
The greatest accomplishment is not in never
failing, but in rising again
after you fall.
The real glory is being knocked to your knees and then coming back.
That's real glory. That's the essence of it.
The
→
harder you work, the harder it is to surrender.
We didn't lose the game; we just ran out of time.
Achievement
It is time for us all to stand and cheer for
the doer,
→
the achiever – the one who recognizes the challenges and does.

4 WHYs of True Success
The measure of who we are is what we do with what we have.
Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch
excellence.
Practice does not make perfect. Only
perfect practice makes perfect.
→
Be Energized
‒ Always!
The only place success comes before work is in the dictionary.
Hard work is the price we must pay for success. I think you can
accomplish anything if you're willing to pay the price.
→
Work
Smart and
Hard
The price of
success is hard work,
dedication
to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose,
we have
applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand.

Vincent Thomas "Vince" Lombardi (June 11, 1913 –
September 3, 1970) was an
American football coach. He is a legendary football
figure, best known as the head coach of the Green Bay Packers during the 1960s.
The National Football League's Super Bowl trophy is named in his honor.
In addition to Lombardi's contributions to the
history of pro football, Lombardi is legendary for his
coaching philosophy and
motivational
skills. Many of Lombardi's
speeches continue to be quoted frequently today. However it must be kept in
context that his quotes were based on his football experience. Regardless, he is
well known as being unequivocally
committed to
winning.

Attitude
If you aren't
fired with enthusiasm,
you will be fired with enthusiasm.
We would accomplish many more things if we did not think of them as
impossible.
The difference between a
successful person and others is
not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather a lack of
will.
→
Coaches who can outline plays on
a black board are a dime a dozen. The coaches who win are the ones who
can
motivate their players.
Confidence is contagious. So is lack of
confidence.
It's easy to have faith in yourself and discipline when you're a winner.
But if you want to be a winner you must have faith and discipline even
when you're not a winner.
Teamwork
People who work together will win, whether it be against complex
football defenses, or the problems of modern society.
→
Teams do not go physically flat,
they go mentally stale.
Individual commitment to a
group effort – that is what makes a
team
work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work.
Leadership
Leaders aren't born they are made. And they
are made just like anything else, through hard work. And that's the
price we'll have to pay to
achieve that
goal,
or any
goal.
The
leader can never close the gap
between himself and the
group. If he
does, he is no longer what he must be. He must walk a tightrope between
the consent he must win and the control he must exert.
