The receiver sees the giver as a highly valuable
source of wisdom, experience, knowledge, inspiration or guidance.
▪ Strong relationship of
trust and goodwill exists between the giver and the receiver.
▪ The giver
empathizes with the receiver and understands how the latter would
perceive the feedback and what would be the form of the feedback for the
current situation.
▪ The feedback is given empathetically
and with passion, as from one loving friend to another – someone who
understands and cares about the receiver and his/her performance and
achievements.
▪ The feedback is asked for by the
recipient or offered and only given if he/she is eager to hear it.
